My opinion: When Caroline got in contact with me to ask if I would read and review her book, I knew from just skim reading the blurb that this was a book for me!

Daisy is a 25 year old divorcee who is trying to piece her life back together after it majorly fell apart. When looking for somewhere to live, she meets Xander, a young lad who comes to her rescue. Not only does he help her with somewhere to stay, but also helps her to start having fun and rebuild her life again. At a party with Xander's friends, Daisy agrees to take part in a game called Forfeit. The game brings out her competitive side (well there is £25,000 at stake, and she's skint) and mayhem ensues.

I really enjoyed the book from the moment I picked it up. I instantly liked Daisy, although some of her reactions to bad situations (particularly involving her ex) annoyed me a little bit. Although Daisy works as a teacher in a rural location, she still lives a bit of a rock and roll lifestyle in the book and does things that I wanted to tut loudly at! I also really liked Xander. He seems like such a charmer and a gent, I couldn't help but like him.

This book is a great modern take on what can happen when young people get bored and play a silly game. Only this time we have the power of the internet and social media, along with lots of sex, booze and dance music!

My opinion: I've never read a book by Jane Linfoot before, but I was attracted to this book and thought that it sounded like an interesting storyline.

Bryony is an independent single woman who likes to be in control and works in television. She ends up working with the Casanova of the cycling world, Jackson Gale. When her co-worker becomes ill, she ends up being thrown onto the back of a tandem with Jackson, and from there her control on her life (and her knickers!) starts to slip away from her. Jackson's quest to change his public image means that they are unable to avoid each other and both end up doing things that break their own rules.

I was hooked by this book straight away. Not only was the writing style like having a chat with your best friend, but it was very funny and made me chuckle. The story has some of its basis in hot sex, but there is a good storyline around it and it gives the perfect mix of hot men, sex and humour. The story becomes more romantic as you read and it is really great to see the characters grow as you read on.

I found a few parts of the book a little predictable, but it didn't take away from my enjoyment, particularly as there were so many things that I couldn't guess! This is a great lighthearted read and a perfect book to read whilst lounging next to a swimming pool or sunbathing in the garden. I will definitely be reading some of Jane's older books to catch up on her writing!

My opinion: I had been toying with reading this book for a while as the cover intrigued me. I was interested in what this sort of bonkbuster novel would be like, and with the Sex Me Up Readathon coming up, it was the perfect excuse to read it whilst lying on a sunlounger in Corfu!

Wild child Tatiana Flint-Hamilton is cut out of her father's will when he dies. Not only does he stop her from inheriting Furlings, the family home, but he insists on conditions for her to receive an allowance. Furlings is passed on to distant Australian relatives, the Cranleys, who up sticks and move to England. Angela Cranley sees the move as a fresh start for her and businessman husband Brett and their two children, moving away from her husband's past. Tati wants to be back in what she considers to be her rightful home and will stop at nothing to get it back.

I was pleasantly surprised that this book had a very good storyline. I'm a sucker for a book set in a rural environment, whether it be a cosy mystery or bonkbuster novel. This one reminded me of Jo Carnegie's books - which I love! I was sucked into the story straight away, and although I hatedthe pretentious Tati at first, I felt like I really got to know her.

The book is set over a period of around ten years so we really get to know the characters and see them grow. The book included a really good mixture of great story and hot sex scenes - although I was confused about just how closely the Flint-Hamiltons and the Cranleys were related. The book is a whopper at over 500 pages, but the story is well paced with a good smattering of well thought out supporting characters, so didn't feel that long.

If, like me, you enjoy reading about what goes on behind the scenes in country villages that are not so sleepy as they appear, then this book is for you. I will definitely be looking for more of Tilly's books, as I think this is probably the right level of sexy book for me! A great story, with a lot of depth and thought behind it, with just the right amount of steamy sex!
